DEBCONF_DEBUG=.* dpkg -i dovecot_core_2.2.13-9_i386.deb 2>&1 debconf.log
(Untested. You may need to adjust it slightly.) Then please send me
debconf.log.
I ran this command:
~# LANG=C DEBCONF_DEBUG=.* dpkg -i
/var/cache/apt/archives/dovecot-core_1%3a2.2.13-9_amd64.deb > debconf.log
And the content of debconf.log is:
