s has nothing to do with the override - it is caused by the fact that

I don't think it "resolves" the problem, it hides it.

For me, this means that the dependency is broken.

At the moment, it installs totally fine but leaves suricata unuseable.

It depends on libhtp1 (>= 0.5.12) but asks specifically for
libhtp-0.5.12.so.1

So, any update (like NMU) on libhtp will break suricata and its not
obvious.
