I would find it useful when doing 'aptitude upgrade' to (optionally) show the list of proposed actions using colours to distinguish those to be removed, installed, upgraded and recommended. This would draw attention immediately to possible unintended consequences before answering "Do you want to continue? [Y/n/?]". Obviously, this would only be enabled if the user wants it and the $TERM supports colours. -- Package-specific info:
