Hi, [adding Arturo to CC list] Bug #777540 has the history of why libhtp was embedded into the suricata package. In short, the SONAME are updated by every upstream release, forcing a rebuild of all rev-deps each time a new libhtp is uploaded (note that the only rev-dep is suricata). We asked the release team with different solutions, and the chosen was to embed libhtp. Now, I'm a bit confused about what to do now, since there are problems both ways. Arturo: I thought the plan was to keep the current situation, and remove libhtp from Debian ?
