Package: dgit
Version: 1.0
Severity: wishlist

dgit(1) talks about configuration via .gitconfig, but this mainly covers
access to the (distro specific) server-side parts needed by dgit.

There is currently no possibility to store e.g. a customized
--curl=program or --curl:option in a similar fashion.

Also with dgit rpush it is unclear which configuration needs to be done
on the build-host and which on the signing-host.

For the use of dgit rpush it would be nice to document the things that
need to be done on the build-host side to check access to the dgit-server.
Seems to be an initial
  ssh 'd...@push.dgit.debian.org' <some dummy command>
to get and accept the ssh hostkey. (I manually ran on the build-host the
failed command reported with -D on the signing-host.)
Hardcoding this in the manpage may be bad for other distros, so a
new subcommand might be better:
  dgit check-rpush-ability
