Thanks again for the report and untangling the mess between hiredis +
webdis, and sorry I've been so slow to follow up on this. I've had some
trouble getting kfreebsd up and running in a VM to dig deeper into why this
is messed up (unfortunately the way the tests are written, it's hard to
know what exactly is failing here: suspect this may just be a mismatch in
the specific error message being checked in the test).

A fix likely won't make the next release, but I'll keep trying & keep you
posted. If all else fails I'll jump on a porterbox.
