Package: scim-qt-immodule
Version: 1.4.17-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

here are my answers to the following questions
   * What led up to the situation?
noticed Qupzilla v1.8.9 did not react to the scim-triggers (ctrl+space)
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
debian testing net install with only standard utilities by default. up-to date.
xorg is started by startx.
scim, scim-pinyin, scim-gtk-immodule, scim-qt-immodule, scim-modules-table,
scim-tables-additional are both installed.
Smart pinyin and russian traditional input methods are added to the default one.
scim -d is on my .xinitrc right before exec wmaker.
export GTK_IM_MODULE=scim, export QT_IM_MODULE=scim are on my .bashrc file.
keepasx (Qt4 app) seems to change input methods just fine.
GTK apps (leafpad, firefox, libreoffice) all seem to react just fine on
scim-triggers
   * What was the outcome of this action?
No input change was recorded. Journalctl | tail -n 20 or journalctl | grep scim
both don't seem to record any errors.
for example
user2@debian:~$ sudo journalctl | grep scim
[sudo] password for user2:

Jan 19 16:20:05 debian scim-bridge[2115]: Cleanup, done. Exitting...
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Input method would change, would start the additional panel stating the current
input mode
