Package: src:calendar-exchange-provider Version: 3.9.0-1 Severity: important
Hello Mechthilde, as you may know we try to get Icedove de-branded and migrated back to Thunderbird again. The package calendar-exchange-provider is setting some needed dependencies. There is a dependency on icedove or thunderbird (through mozilla-devscripts) but only a dependency on iceowl-extension. This needs to be expanded to iceowl-extension | lightning to get rid of transitional packages one day, but satisfy the dependencies. By this the dependencies can be also fulfilled if the user has no icedove related package installed at all and don't want them. And also related by this transition, please adjust your Build-Depends to icedove-dev (>= 38.7) | thunderbird-dev We plan to ship the transitional icedove package for Stretch of course but cut them up for Stretch+1. We have a ongoing discussion with the release team in #851989 for getting Thunderbird packages into stretch. https://bugs.debian.org/851989 The experimental repository is providing thunderbird packages for testing. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: armhf Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
