Package: smartmontools
Version: 5.33+5.34cvs20050802-4
Severity: minor

README.Debian states
Package Maintainers and users can put script to be run when smartd detects an
error into /etc/smartmontools/run.d. The script will receive the errormessage
on stdin. See /etc/smartmontools/run.d/10mail as an example.

However, 10mail actually pulls the error message text from a file whose
name is passed as the first argument (and not from stdin) -- and I see
that the error message is specifically saved to this temporary file in
/usr/share/smartmontools/smartd-runner .

Thanks.

                                                        Nathan
