I installed a fresh jessie inside a libvirt VM. The installer alraedy
applies the security updates - thus I got the new kernel and libc6 etc.
(libffi isn't used by LO)
Starts fine for me...

I have no idea whether these add-ons rely upon a library that changed
with the Debian update, causing the crash.
