Package: login Version: 1:4.0.14-4 Severity: minor Tags: l10n Typing in a multibyte character produces no output, but will make it impossible to use backspace for deletion. It's not a big problem since these characters should not be used in user names or passwords anyway, but they could be handled more gracefully. I've only tried of few readily available multibyte characters, there may be exceptions. This was done on a framebuffer console on a system with console-tools.
