Additionally, there are quite a few old and new features not enabled by default, but we don't enable them all just for earlier testing. Coloring works fine for me, but I don't see it as a game-changer worth to diverge from upstream. Those who like the feature and want to assist with testing could easily use shell aliases to save the typing and personalise the options they prefer. If you persuade upstream to change the defaults earlier before the next release, I'm open to cherry-picking that. Regards, -- Eugene V.
