I spoke with mapreri on #debian-python. A very terse summary is that if it is uploaded now it will continue to FTBFS on arm64, because that where the py3.7 transition is in-progress. A reasonable compromise seems like it might be something like: do a source-only upload to the delayed queue, with at least seven days delay. Cheers, Nicholas
