While I can easily edit /etc/macchanger/ifupdown.sh to change the -e flag to something else, I'm sure this is not the preferred method. It would be nice to have an OPTIONS variable in /etc/default/macchanger which seems to be the preferred locale for configuration changes. I'm happy to create a patch if it would be helpful.
