Package: xfce4-settings
Version: 4.12.4-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

On a recently installed testing system, it happened that the home
partition of the user got filled up very quickly, by a 267 G
.xsession-errors file.

Looking at the content, it seems that every millisecond, a dozen error
messages are spit by xfce4-keyboard-settings, looking like :

(xfce4-keyboard-settings:1593): libxfce4ui-CRITICAL **: 08:31:41.803:
IA__xfce_dialog_show_error: assertion 'parent == NULL || GTK_IS_WINDOW
(parent)' failed

(xfce4-keyboard-settings:1593): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 08:31:41.803: invalid
unclassed pointer in cast to 'GtkDialog'

(xfce4-keyboard-settings:1593): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 08:31:41.803:
IA__gtk_dialog_run: assertion 'GTK_IS_DIALOG (dialog)' failed

I fear this is quite nasty, but didn't raise severity because it may
just be happening due to local peculiarities.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
