Bug#910433: thunderbird: Open hyperlink and attachments in system default applications not working

It is not just an issue of the web browser. It is that all file type
associations are being ignored.

If you go to "Settings/Attachments" (Einstellungen/Attachments/Empfang),
the window is empty.

And this remains the case with a virgin profile.
