I'm able to reproduce your problem with img2pdf 0.3.1.

I also get lots of errors like:

warning: unknown png predictor 170, treating as none
warning: unknown png predictor 255, treating as none
warning: ... repeated 73 times ...

Fortunately, it seems that the problem is already fixed upstream.

If you like, you could try out the img2pdf binary from here and check if your
problem persists or not:

It works for me (tm). Can you confirm?
