The rename was part of a library transition, so the libsaml9 binary package is not taken over by opensaml, we build libsaml10 instead. I'm filing a separate removal request for the shibboleth-sp2 direct dependency; the shibboleth-resolver and moonshot-gss-eap transitive dependencies are already broken in unstable by the OpenSSL 1.1 transition and will soon be fixed (upgraded) by their maintainer, see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=915007#23: > Don't wait for me on shibboleth-resolver or moonshot-gss-eap to file > the removal requests. > They are both basically broken in unstable, so there's no reason to > block.
