It's actually a feature that architecture all packages can be different in the different architectures. This feature makes it easier to keep all architectures useable by avoiding architecture all packages entering an architecture before the architecture any packages of the same source package are built. (Though in hindsight it is perhaps not that useful a feature compared to the annoyance t causes in in more often seen use cases. It is already on my list of features that might be removed in the future). As long as there are no architecture any packages from the same source a reprepro flood $distributionname should also haved fixed your case. Bernhard R.
