I have no clue how to do this.

My understanding of contrib was that packages in contrib may depend on
packages in non-free, as distributed by debian servers.

I see that I was wrong. (c.f.
http://www.debian.de/doc/debian-policy/ch-archive.html#s-contrib ). Feel
