I just installed Debian 10 and I found that preview-latex is not working. Preview-latex is one of the big features of this package. Any chance this bug can be fixed?
As a workaround one can remove the debian package and install the latest auctex version from elpa. However, note that the latest version needs some adjustments to work with ghostscript 9.27, which is shipped in debian.
