Package: libfaudio0
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Wine 5.0+ requires libfaudio0 as a dependency. WineHQ instructions guide to install the deb package as mentioned in the wiki page https://wiki.winehq.org/Debian. libfaudio0 is also available in Debian unstable and testing https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=libfaudio0.

Would it be possible to have the package available in buster-backports as well?

On the eligibility considerations from the Debian backports contribution guidelines:

* Package would be useful for all Debian stable users who wish to install and run latest
versions of Wine from the official WineHQ repositories.
* Backports could guarantee an upgrade channel for package updates and the next stable release from
the distribution's own official package repository.

Kind regards,

Tomi Juntunen
