hard to say, as it crashed early on in the start up process (and also because i dont really remember because several months have passed). Clearly there's always a "risk" when using a file sharing software that it connects to the network. that being said, there's no _legal_ issue is you dont have anything in download/upload: even if amule connects to the enkey/kademlia networks it has nothing so share or download, so that's just an empty client with no implications for the IP address it connected to.
