Trust me, I would not be packaging this if I didn't feel like I had to. I have taken your advice and created a simple Node package to act as a wrapper. You can find it here: https://salsa.debian.org/js-team/left-pad My plan is to create Debian package off of that repository. Do you think this is acceptable now? Thanks for the feedback! Harley
