Hello Sudip and Franciscarlos, I'm writing this email as I help Franciscarlos by sponsoring his uploads and we had discussed the state of adapta-gtk-theme upstream and this issue privately before.
Thanks for the patch and the delayed upload. I cancelled the upload for now so we can have this discussion. adapta-gtk-theme's upstream archived the project about 2 years ago, and we are not sure if the current version of gnome on testing/unstable works without issues with it. We had agreed to fill a package removal request because of that, and I haven't replied to this bug before because I was going to fill the RoM as the next step (I should have done it earlier). I believe the way forward (to have this package on Debian), for someone interested in it, is to contact upstream and see if they're willing to let someone else assume the maintenance, especially since this patch should be there. Once there's a new upstream and guarantee that the project is working with the latest gnome release, we will be able to ship adapta-gtk-theme again.
