Hi Christoph and gniibe--

Many thanks to you both for preparing and proposing fixes for the GnuPG
packaging in debian.

I've done some review and cleanup and just uploaded 2.2.27-1 to unstable
based on your work. In particular, i pulled from gniibe's git
repository (which included Christoph's dependency tightening patches),
and i cleaned up a bunch of fairly inconsequential lintian warnings.

We're still shipping a lot of binaries in /usr/lib/gnupg and home-grown
manpages, but without convincing upstream to adopt the manpages, or to
ship the binaries someplace else, i don't know how the debian packaging
is going to do that differently.

I'm back on the #debian-gnupg IRC channel, sorry for my absence from
there earlier.

I welcome and encourage more work on the packages maintained by this
team, and though i don't think we have any formal membership process, i
can say that you have more contributions to the packaging than many
people who have been considered "team members" over the last few years.
So please do keep contributing!

Regards,
