Hi,

The Debian menu system was officially deprecated more than 6 years ago;
since then, Debian menu entries are being removed, making less and less
useful to show the old Debian menu converted to XDG entries.

Hence, no more require the old Debian menu system for MATE users: in
case any old Debian menu entry is wanted, it can be easily provided as
desktop file by the package that contains it.
