I contacted LunarG about this, and they clarified the current situation. While they maintain their own repo with Ubuntu packages, they don't have resources to allocate for working on packaging it for Debian.
So I'm not sure what's the right way forward for this. Does this need another maintainer or Debian developer to be packaged? Shmerl.
