I believe someone need to contact the maintainers of all the reverse dependencies and ask them to request removal of their package from the architecture in question and adjust their package to drop the architecture from its Architecture: field. PS: bugs.debian.org only send email to <bug#>@bugs.debian.org to the package maintainer, not the others involved in the bug report.
