Source: h5py Version: 3.7.0-2 Followup-For: Bug #1020054 Reproducible, e.g. https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rbuild/unstable/amd64/h5py_3.7.0-2.rbuild.log.gz
I suspect the bug is not in h5py but rather in libhdf5-openmpi-dev, possibly in the flags used by h5pcc. The last hdf5 version is 1.10.8+repack-1, but h5py previously built fine against it. Not clear at this point why the behaviour has changed. Perhaps the switch from gcc-11 to gcc-12 is involved.
