Package: rdiff-backup Version: 2.0.5-4 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
The current version of rdiff-backup packaged in debian (2.0.5) is more than 2 years old. Version 2.2.2 was released on 12/28/22 and contains numerous bug fixes and enhancements (see the release notes for version 2.2.0). One of the enhancements is a new, modernized CLI, but it also still supports the old, deprecated CLI, so this version supports users transitioning from the old to the new CLI. Please package rdiff-backup 2.2.2. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages rdiff-backup depends on: ii libc6 2.36-5 ii librsync2 2.3.2-1+b1 ii python3 3.10.6-1 ii python3-pkg-resources 65.5.0-1 ii python3-setuptools 65.5.0-1 Versions of packages rdiff-backup recommends: ii python3-pylibacl 0.6.0-2+b2 ii python3-pyxattr 0.7.2-2+b2 rdiff-backup suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
