It is not urgent for Debian since there are a lot of other affected packages.

I did make my proposed change for Ubuntu since ibus-libpinyin is in
main there. However, libgdata (used by gvfs) still uses libsoup2.4.
Ubuntu's deprecated installer ubiquity does too but maybe we'll be
able to remove ubiquity from main or even completely in time for 24.04
LTS.
