Package: Kernel
Version: 4.19.100generic

If a (remote) NFS server (mounted with the default options) goes down or
becomes unreachable it causes the (local) load average to get very high
This making the machine very slow after few hours. Any kind of requests(HTTP
request to application running on the machine) gets timed out.

We see timeout errors in the kernel logs under /var/log/kern.log while try to
reach out to the NFS mount.
This issue was observed in a machine installed with Debian 9 (stretch).

We expect that if kernel is not able to access the unreachable NFS mount, it
shouldn't make the system unresponsive.
