Fixing these was pretty straightforward, since these were common issues 
for these architectures with common fixes.

I agree with you that ardour is a leaf package of low importance on MIPS,
but this reason might not be true.

It's not clear whether our port can run on this hardware specifically  
due to the FPU mess, but hardware like [1] might be suitable.

China has a 6th of the worlds population, but little awareness exists 
outside China of their domestic hardware and software developments since
these rarely end up being sold abroad and tend to be mostly ignored by 
Western media.
