What does it fix? This patch fix invalid decoding what leads
to distortion of the text (e.g. I use emacs+notmuch, and subjects
of some titles are cut off).
The recently released version 3.2.14
(https://github.com/jstedfast/gmime/releases/tag/3.2.14) also fixes
this.
