Are you on amd64? The geeqie package should depend on liblua5.3-0 (and according to https://packages.debian.org/sid/geeqie it claims to do just that on all architectures except m68k, sh4 and x32). I just tested on unstable, removed liblua5.1-0 and liblua5.1-0-dev, and started geeqie - which worked just fine, with only Lua 5.3 installed. /Andreas Rönnquist gus...@debian.org
