What forced you to install krb5-config though?
Is there any hard dependency forcing this, or is it just a recommends.
It's generally expected that when installing a package, that package
should be able to write the files it owns.
If all you need to do is not install krb5-config, then I will consider
that sufficient.
Your suggestion that we test /etc/krb5.conf writability can potentially
fail to detect situations where the installation should properly fail.
