Now, two days after, touchpad works normal again. Why? Don't know which is worse than if it still wouldn't work.
what happened? seems there is another bug: when I happen to plug the usb-c charger while in standby, system crashes after wakeup. After rebooting, everything was fine with the touchpad. Maybe just a coincidence? dmesg shows this now: $ sudo dmesg | grep -i mouse [ 1.886340] mousedev: PS/2 mouse device common for all mice [ 2.689681] psmouse serio1: elantech: assuming hardware version 4 (with firmware version 0x5f3001) [ 2.704141] psmouse serio1: elantech: Synaptics capabilities query result 0x90, 0x18, 0x10.
