I'd go so far to think that this is not constrained to i386 binaries on amd64 hosts. `aplay /dev/zero` segfaults on a plain i386 host with asound 1.2.10. Downgrading to 1.2.9 helps.Is this the same as https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-lib/issues/352 ?
