Package: libasound2 Version: 1.2.10-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch upstream
Dear Alsa team, alsa-lib 1.2.10 implements UMP support for seq. Unfortunately, it breaks chromium WebMIDI at least partially. This is a chromium bug, actually, but since it is a regression, upstream has implemented a workaround for it: Upstream Issue: https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-lib/issues/360 Upstream fix: https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-lib/commit/2fca03e792ef1b740e8a7370fdd360d0b627c84c I have a fixed version available at https://salsa.debian.org/nodens/alsa-lib. (I'd have applied to join the team or proposed a NMU, but I forgot to update my key in time and can't upload right now).
