Again: Please stop blaming other maintainers for not doing what you want. We need some means to follow ABI changes. In Debian we could use something like r-matrix-abi-VERSION. As long as you not discussing this in a qualified wording I will not upload any package that is affected since I see my time wasted to discuss this in the next ABI change again and again.
