Package: devscripts
Version: 2.23.7

Currently devscripts contains package 'dget' [1] for downloading
Debian binary/source packages.

Everything it does can be done using apt-get. The man page itself
explicitly says 'dget package should be implemented in apt-get install
-d.', which it kind of today is as you can run 'apt-get download' to
download the binary packages of anything, and no root permissions are
required.

Thus the tools dget is obsolete, and should be removed, or replace
with a minimal bash script that simply states 'This tool is
deprecated. Please use "apt-get download" or "apt-get source".'
