I would be happy to maintain this package. It is a Suggests dependency for the xscreensaver package that I am already maintaining. With the same upstream and much of the same libraries and tooling I think it shouldn't be too much extra effort for me.
I have staged commits to https://salsa.debian.org/tormod/xdaliclock that makes the package (currently a broken and unreleased 2.47-1 version in the main repo) build correctly again. Merging in the new 2.48 release goes without issues, I just haven't pushed this (simply since I reserve the right to polish this until it has been merged into the main repo, and rebasing is more work with an upstream merge in the middle). Please feel free to merge this in any case. Note that I need a sponsor for uploads (I may work towards upload rights for xscreensaver and this one), and I would need to be added to the main repo. I haven't asked my regular xscreensaver sponsor yet if he's willing to do this, but I think that is a possibility. Regards, Tormod
