Ideally it is the first version which stopped shipping the German man
pages. Maybe you can browse your git history? It's good for partial
upgrades, though in the end I simply accept what you will choose.

Well, this would be a good idea, to choose roughly the same day, to
avoid uninstallable situations for people living on unstable or testing. 

I'm intending to prepare the next upstream release (and then
immediately the Debian release) on 2024-03-23. 

If this is inconvenient for you, we can wait until April. I simply
keep the German man pages in deletion (as I did with previous
versions) and then I release -2 on a date more convenient to you (and
then ship the German man pages).
