Dear Andrej and Guido,

I have prepared preliminary packaging for openvr2 library in my salsa
repository [1].
It builds, but since I have preserved git history from openvr project, I
had to use gbp buildpackage --git-no-pristine-tar to build successfully,
since there were reasonable problems with deltas since I changed the
project name. That needs some cleanup and the whole repo needs revision
and inspection, since we are talking about a new shared library with a bump
in soname version.
Feel free to clone and suggest things.

In the meantime, I could try to prepare and upload a new gamescope package
with openvr support disabled.

Regards,
sapphire
