Package: clevis-luks Version: 19-2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: spamthath...@gmail.com
Example of the problem: $ sudo clevis luks edit -d /dev/sda1 -s 1 /usr/bin/clevis-luks-edit: line 116: jq: command not found Error reading the configuration from /dev/sda1:1 Workaround: install 'jq' manually and it will work. It seems 'jq' should be a dependency or recommended package so users do not have to install 'jq' manually. Fedora lists 'jq' as a dependency of the 'clevis' package, but I guess it's okay if we make it a dependency of the 'clevis-luks' package, since that package provides the 'clevis luks' subcommand. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-18-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU thread; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages clevis-luks depends on: ii clevis 19-2 ii cryptsetup-bin 2:2.6.1-4~deb12u2 ii luksmeta 9-4 clevis-luks recommends no packages. clevis-luks suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
