Package: lists.debian.org Dear Debian listmasters:
Many people report that messages sent to certain n...@bugs.debian.org addresses receive automatic replies from Apple Support China. Apparently it does not happen with every bug report, but only with those which are RC, which suggests that there may be one subscriber of debian-bugs-rc with a forwarding rule causing the automatic replies. A bisection method has been suggested to discover the address causing the replies, but I believe it would be possible to do it in one shot by sending "fake" email messages (appearing to come from the list) to every subscriber of debian-bugs-rc, with different From: fields. (This is actually the idea behind VERP, except that the forwarding rule causing the problem is so broken that we would have to use the real From: instead of the envelope from). Thanks.
