Control: severity -1 critical

due to data loss.

I have the same issue. Worse, in one of my tests, where I tried
various things before quitting Emacs (without saving the file,
because this is just not possible due to this bug), like switching
the current buffer (which had no effect), the file got removed!
However, I can't reproduce that, and I don't remember what I did
exactly. I suspect that Emacs got in an inconsistent state.

Well, after typing "C-x C-s", the file is no longer there, and
I cannot see any backup! A C-g restores it, but apparently, not
after some condition. Anyway, the fact that the file is temporarily
removed is a major issue.

Here, there was no such issue on May 1, where I had emacs 1:29.3+1-2.
But gnupg2 has also been upgraded from 2.2.40-3 to 2.2.43-3, though.
