severity 389126 important thanks I am not able to reproduce this problem, with either an English or a Spanish locale (I tried French, but gnome seems to think the fr_FR.UTF-8 locale doesn't exist when it definitely does). All the evidence so far points to a dbus problem, not an X or a gnome-session problem; and the dbus hangs don't appear for me either. So I'm going to go ahead and downgrade this bug.
