I have the same problem. totem can't play video anymore : $ gconftool --get /desktop/gnome/thumbnailers/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/command /usr/bin/gnome-video-thumbnailer -s %s %u %o
$ totem-video-thumbnailer video.avi test.png totem-video-thumbnailer couln't open file 'video.avi' Reason: Video codec 'XviD' is not handled. You might need to install additional plugins to be able to play some types of movies.
